Oil on Wood, 20" x 16"

This was my neighborhood in San Leandro, California, for 18 months. The next big earthquake was due anytime, possibly leveling locks of wood framestucco houses. When it hits this is what my old street will look like. Instead of sidewalk and streets connecting houses, it will be tunnels and bridges.

And in the center will be a secret meeting-place/bunker for when the next quake arrives.

Have you ever thought of drawing interiors? It'd be nice to see the inside of one of these wild homes.

I wander'd lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
A host of golden daffodils...

Excerpt of "Daffodils"

 Exactly so!!!

Having endured the "big one" of 1989, I can laugh but at the same time see the possibilities...

Great piece. And I agree with :iconinuzrule:, have you done any interior pieces? That would be fun to see...

I write the words that come and go
That swirl around all to and fro
Inside my head, where they scream and shout,
Pushing and shoving to find a way out
to wind up on paper for all to peruse-
interpret my words any way that you choose.
